AtomicMelodies' Mentis lead me to a headspace I often don't try to purposely rediscover, that place where your emotions communicate what they are to you. It's there you come to accept oneself in aid of the music and does atomic really take the VRC6 by the reigns on this showcase. Definitely an album for self reflection Favorite track: Anxiety.

Like most things, Mentis started off as an idea. An idea that came to shape through weeks and months of thought and planning. Even though the finished album lies before you, it still remains a product of the mind.

This is a trip though my own mind, and displays all of conflicting thoughts, emotions, and ideals I hold. Its a better definition of myself than any paper I could ever write. I hope it can resonate with you in at least one way it resonates with myself.

With that out of the way, I present to you, Mentis, a story of the mind.





All songs were composed in OCC-Famitracker, with slight stereo panning applied afterwards. The NSF files will be included in a separate download link on my social media and soundcloud.
